The interior patterning and letters pretty much say it all. The pages were sprayed with Adirondack spray inks, using the spiral pattern as a stencil. I then glued the spiral to both sides of the pages using PVA at just the ends of the center and outside edge of the spiral. I then punched holes in all four corners of the open book, front to back, and inserted wires to bind them together.
The tag on the top left offers the challenge of which direction you (me/all of us) will take in dealing with our collective future.
