Five More ATCs

In the midst of a crashing thunderstorm this afternoon, I relished time in my upstairs studio (read here: son’s old bedroom, converted), watching the lightning, hearing the crashing right overhead, listening to the rain afterwards, all the while making some more ATCs.  I’m not sure I’ll EVER use up my art supplies, but I’m having fun with the process.

These five cards all started out with watercolor paper as the substrate, with my ‘waste-painted’ fabric added.  I used bits of art papers, fabric numbers from a calendar, other fabric bits, acrylic paint, washi paper tape, Faber-Castell calligraphy pen , and the butterflies are from repro. art prints I got in Florence, Italy, in 2007. Enjoy!  Let me know if you’d like to trade!   (CLICK IMAGES TO ENLARGE)
